Today I want to take a look at some great footage that coach Mat Steinmetz has provided, featuring pro triathlete Mirinda Carfrae on a one-hour training run after a 100-mile bike session.

  1. Interesting analysis. Can you comment more on the efficiency and mechanics of what the leg does after the push? Is it desirable for the knee and foot to be lifted as high (as in the video) while the leg swings forward? I get the feeling I am running much too stiff-legged.
