This week, we’re pleased to welcome Gary Reynolds of RunnersParadise.net onto the show to talk about micro training cycles, and his training ahead of the upcoming Brighton Marathon.

Gary assists me in providing coaching advice on the Members Forum of our Online Running Technique Course (currently 50% discount!). You can find him on Twitter @runnerparadise.

Are seven-day Training Cycles For Me?

To accompany Gary’s interview on this week’s podcast, I wanted to share this link to a recent article from Gary which will help runners decide whether 7, 10 or even 14 day cycles are most appropriate for them as individuals.

  • Really interesting to listen to this episode James (as they all are) and to read Gary’s post, as have just come to this conclusion myself and written a post about it on my blog. Am just switching to ten day cycles and am hopefully looking forward to more flexibility in my schedule as a result

    Keep up the great work!
