Episode 2: Runner’s Knee & Gait Re-education with Brad Neal

In this week’s Train Smarter podcast, we have an interview with physiotherapist Brad Neal (@Brad_Neal_07).

Brad gives us the low-down on the latest research and clinical practice in treatment of patellofemoral pain, also known as runner’s knee.

For the technically and clinically minded, we discuss some of the variables we look to change when applying gait retraining principals to runners suffering with patellofemoral pain. We also consider other important factors such as training load which all help to build the bigger picture when assessing biomechanical stress factors in a runner.
